So glad it's only 11am when I decided to watch it. Creeped the crap out of me. But I'm so fascinated by ghost/horror things, hence why I just love Amnesia so so so much. But man. I wish I knew what the ending was about. And all the old people. For those of you who have watched it.
btw, if you like that movie, you can look on this

- Paranormal Entity (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1586261/
- Atrocious (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1734067/

Most definitely watching those next.
Seen Paranormal Activity 2 and was crap I thought. Haven't seen the first. BUT, I really enjoyed the third one.

The ending was just what it was. No real way of explaining it other than they got possessed?

I actually looked it up myself, and got some questions answered. All three movies are heavily tied into one another. And three is basically like a prequel to 1 & 2 obviously.

Spoiler below!
http://screenrant.com/paranormal-activit...fi-137162/ Explains it all, but is slightly lengthy. But basically, the grandmother or the grandmother's mother made a pact with the demons and it spread all down the family line. The old ladies at the end were the witches Dennis pointed out in the book. And the grandmother urged Julie to have more kids near the beginning because of the whole first born son sacrifice thing. It gets really in depth and all movies tie into another and are better explained.
Part 1 was good. Part 2 they failed on the story, as in it was too cliche and they didn't really try to prove the family history (and the acting didn't seem as good as the first). Part 3 i haven't seen, but the trailer implies to me similar, if not the same, failures as part 2. I will admit, however, part 2 had decent atmosphere and it wasn't difficult to get immersed.

Actually, most of the scenes from the trailer for part 3 wasn't even included in the movie. I remember being able to follow it easier than 2, like 1.

Really? Interesting; i'll keep that in mind.
Paranormal Activity 1 was a great movie and a must watch. In PA 2 thet didn´t bring anything new to the movie at all, same scares, same concept and the story *facepalm*
But PA3 was a very good movie and I´m glad you guys liked it, so much hate everywhere xD
But... am I the only one who seem to smell some SAW? Seems like they´ll milk PA dry on money by releasing movie after movie and so on...
I didn't find first one very effective. It was just a fresh breath in the midst of clichés. Second one was a total trash, and third one was no better than first. Congrats, we gained another worthless series in history.
Imma watch Troll 2.
