Hello friends, How are you, I'm planning on playing Penumbra (series?) after Amnesia but I don't know which one should I play first and what after one. Can you help me?
- Penumbra Overture
- Penumbra Requiem
- Penumbra Black Plague
If you really want to enjoy the story, you better off doing it in order cause they all link. I've only played Overture and now playing Black Plague, both very scary games. In some ways better than Amnesia. More puzzles and stealth elements. I know that Overture and Black Plague are linked (I won't spoil anything) not sure about Requiem, but I know that pretty much puzzles and nothing else. Still has good atmosphere from what I've been told.

Tech Demo is the first Penumbra game. It's also a free one so you should play it first, just to see what the game was like before commercial success (Overture).

Yeah they has some different monster design to it. I may need to play it at some point.

Tech Demo is not the first Penumbra game, it doesn't take a place in the Penumbra series.
It was only a game for some kind of competition for students, to show the physic engine.
The first Penumbra game is Overture.
I can't recommend to play the Tech Demo first, because of spoilers. People really should begin with Overture.

There's none. Absolutely nothing. Zero.
Only "spoiler" is the intro video where the story is exactly the same as in Overture (except Phillip's hair color and voice), but that's really not a spoiler of any kind since it's in the beginning of both games.
