Frictional Games Forum (read-only)

So I started playing Amnesia today. I'm loving it, but I still have a lot to learn and I'm still trying to get to know the environment better etc.

I just finished the first part where you had to follow the liquid until you find Daniel's first note to himself. When I tried to continue, I could only find the door to the Rainy Hall. When clicking on it, it says that the door won't budge. I then checked every other room like.. three times or something to see if there's another way to continue, but there was nothing that I could find. I used up all my oil in the process.

Can I get a hint on how to continue?

1. Go into room with note
2. Look left
3. Walk towards wall
4. Proceed through secret passage

Note to self: investigate rooms better.
