Scene goes all white, I had to Ctrl-Alt-Backspace then modify ~/PenumbraCollection/BlackPlague/maps/level16_infected_corridors.hps by commenting out:

Restarted the game and finished. No problems anywhere else in the game, a great frame rate and an excellent game overall - thanks!
