I just got a screen recording program and I co-run a website with some of my friends so I was wondering if I were to do a video series using it what would the people of the internet want to watch?
Funny things, or maybe some gameplay vids?
That's what I was thinking but specifically what games and what kind of qualities do people look for in a commentary?
I haven't seen anybody do an LP in-character since
Freeman's Mind, I think that is fairly untreaded ground. Give that some though
I don't know I have been thinking of doing something with Minecraft but I'm not sure what the most effective way of going about that would be. Then again I always wanted to make Daniel's Mind with Amnesia.
If you made something like Freeman's Mind, don't title it Daniel's Mind
Haha yeah I know that was just the project name I don't know if my screen recorder can handle Amnesia though. I'm going to give it a try today.

Internet is full of people with different taste and you cannot satisfy everyone.
So, you just need to pick the one genre you like to do and find those who like to watch that kind of videos.
For few examples, some like to watch Let's Plays, some like to watch the gameplay videos only and others like to watch the type of series Machinima releases (Freeman's Mind, Red vs. Blue, etc.)

What recording program do you have?
I am using CamStudio it's an open source program it works well with minecraft but when I try to record Amnesia it just shows a black screen and whatever my mouse is doing.
