Do it. This game desperately needs more modelers.

Tone down the amount of windows, maybe have one taller one in place of two smaller ones. Right now I see a LOT of repetition in the windows and I think that's one thing that's bringing this area down. Also you should make the building a little taller, maybe have a few towers extending out in the background. It'll open up a lot of creativity and originality to this map and make it so you're not so limited for space when you start doing the inside maps. Personally I think it would look better with some rain and very light fog, but that'd be up to you since it is really just my personal preference. As for the courtyard, I can't really see what's over there so I couldn't really give a fair assessment... The biggest issue I see though is the lighting. You have a ton of lamps in there, and yet some how the entire area seems to be more darkish blue than orange. It'd make it seem a lot more natural if you used pointlights to make it look orange-ish with hints of blue where there aren't too many lamps. So far though, this is looking good.

I have tried fog on the map. It ruined the map. I was planning to do something with the buildings. I have never been good at lighting, adding a point light will probably ruin it.

One thing that I found that really improves the look of large pointlights is if you put the very bottom slider (the one that doesn't seem to affect the color) to 0, still not sure what it does but I've found it makes pointlights look a lot nicer.

Not 100% sure, but I think it just affects the brightness/ambient of the light.

Changed some of the buildings. Tired to add some more detail in the background. If it looks good I will put it around the town.

edit: I do not plan to make any but 1 of the buildings enterable (is that a word?), unless some one wants to help me on this project.
