Level editor HPL error

I have just recently installed Amnesia from the Mac app store and downloaded the HPL2 Mac OSX version. There was no problem installing and it was visible in the Amnesia launcher but I cannot open any of the tools and it just comes up with;

Warning
Could not start HPL Tool Level Editor.


Any help is appreciated.

The current hpl2 editor suite isn't compatible with the macappstore release. An updated version is being worked on to support the Mac app store release of amnesia.

Just simply uninstalled and reinstalled.
