This. Looks. AMAZING.
Seriously, the screenshots look beautiful and some of your ideas sound extremely interesting. Looking forward to this.

I'm not usually called kind, or sir!

This is part of the problem with some people, were too negative, we should look at the positives as well as the negatives, and this is looking very positive Big Grin

I'm seriously sorry for bumping my thread (which seems old and dead) but I wanted to say that I uploaded a teaser trailer just today. And well... I wanted to also give this thread a "second chance" to see if I could spread it out a bit more. Maybe get some advice and criticism (not the type where you pretty much bash this story).

I also wanted to say that my ModDB page has been updated. It include the trailer and a couple of fresh updates. More pictures (or well updated pictures) will be up soon on the ModDB site.

If the trailer's going to be a playable part in game, I'd suggest using a lot of ambient sounds for the outdoors (i.e. crickets, wind). Also, some fog never hurts. Aside from that, looks great! Tracking it on ModDB.

I definitely agree. I will work on that as soon as I start working on my custom story again. As for the fog, could you help me with that? I know how to enable it and all... but it just looks ugly. Unless you're talking about particle fog, in which, that's easy. But if you're talking about the level editor fog... that's what I'm having trouble with.

And thanks! I just saw your profile following it Tongue and immediately knew I got a response already.

I honestly hate the global fog and never use it; the fog tool (not PS) is only good if the player isn't inside of it (like how FG did it in the study when you look out the window). Particle systems are the way to go, just be sure to make them very faint + match the color of their surroundings.
