WineCellar Monster help!

this is my 2nd playthrough, i went to the wine cellar and robbed the place, grabbed the health potion in the end because i knew a monster would spawn after i grab it. but after almost an HOUR the monster is still there!!!! daniel's sanity went to shit, collapsed once and went to shit again. im afraid to move to check out if its real.
im stuck there, can anyone tell me if the monster is real or not?

Once I ran just towards him and he just walked away and dissapeared

I think you just need to start walking towards him and he will just go away.

Just go ahead some steps from where you are hidden and he will go

As for the OP, you can't even get close to the monster, it walks away when you walk towards it
