1 and 2 now work correctly--I see the room with gray walls, and the cube in the middle. 3-6 crash right away still. You might want to use a utility library to create a crash dump, so that I can send it to you to reproduce the crashing scenario.

odnorf:
Are you having problems with Penumbra? It should be very visible in the first boat level, with the walls and map having polygons disappearing.

I guess you don't mean the demo but "penumbra overture episode 1".

Yes, I have the known problems of textures missing.
And I also have the menu hang problem.

I'm running Vista Business 32-bit, ATI Radeon X1650XT, Catalyst 7.6, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB of RAM.

In Overture I frequently experienced the disappearing polygons, and also the menu hang. In this latest test (version 3 I guess?) I've had no problems on all tests, both with and without postprocessing effects.

Someone did a trace of the menu hang and found a deadlock occured in the ATI OpenGL driver, so I'd venture a guess that the menu hang isn't your fault. It could still be fixed, though, if the code that causes the deadlock in the driver can be circumvented (I hope).

Thank you!
Any info on a possible future patch to fix the textures problem?

EDIT: That is if you meant that the freezing menu will be fixed by ATI and the textures missing by Frictional games.
