Joined a guild, people called me Traggey, I stuck with it.

That's the reason as to why my youtube channel is called Traggeydatroll, which I severly regret now a days since the term troll kind of turns people off!
Lol!

About 5 years ago when I made my xbox account the username I wanted was taken, (Big J sounded like a good idea to a 13-year old), and a list came up with words I could put in front of my name. As I scrolled through the list I accidentaly pressed A (enter) and selected a word by mistake thus my name became PrelaunchBig J. Later the people I played with would call me Prelaunch or Prelauncher and since then that name has stuck around.

I heard the name 'Xanatos' many years ago and took a liking to it. Years later I found out it's an alternate spelling of 'Thahatos', Greek god of Death, and now I like it even more.

I love reading these stories =] It's always interesting to see how people devise these names.

As for me. I use "Statyk" in PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING. I came up with it around a year or two after Xbox Live first came out. My brother and sister had accounts on a game called "Phantasy Star: Online" that were based on "elements". My brother was *Something* - Ice and my sister had *Something* Magic. When we came up to making my account, I wanted my element based around electricity and thought "lightning" was stupid. My Brother suggested "Static" but it seemed too plain, so we replayed I and C with their hungover brothers, Y and K.

And that is how I became Statyk. WOO

RE: How did you come up with your name? - palistov - 08-16-2012

Palistov is an ancient derived nomenclature of a mystical entity that combined the powers of the Light with the purging flame of the most powerful technological innovation ever to be engineered. The legend goes that the holy paladins of Charlemagne's court uncovered a plot to develop a device which harbored the power of the sun in a caliber that mankind could subdue and utilize for various household purposes. Around this time, fire-pits and the like were uncontrollable and unpredictable, so many countermeasures had to be used to prevent the thirsty flame for devouring everything around it. Buckets of water and stone rings, stuff like that. Once the twelve discovered the device, they vowed to protect its power and ensure its design persevered throughout war, famine and plague. If you simply walk into your kitchen, you are likely to see a shining example of the paladins' holy work -- The pally-stove.

TL;DR I'm full of shit.
