Yes there's a lot of shitty cookie cutter dance electronica, but there's also just as much interesting, experimental, ambient etc electronica, and a lot of the time that stuff takes more talent to make than a lot of music that requires a whole band. And don't even try to use the whole "you just push buttons it takes no talent" argument. You could say playing guitar takes no talent cause you just strum strings or that drumming takes no talent cause you just hit things with sticks with that logic, which is just stupid.

It takes months or years to learn how to play the guitar, especially like this :

No, I can judge artists by how talented they are regardless of if I can match them. By that logic, you can't say any movie you've seen, book you've read, game you've played etc is good or bad or you're being a hypocrit cause I'm guessing you haven't made any of those.

There are opinions, you cannot say that Twilight is better than Pulp Fiction because is just very stupid lol.

Also there's a ton of great new music, you just need to know where to look for it. Off the top of my head I could think of like 5 or 6 good albums that came out this year.

Ok so those are some weird bands, never heard of them, how did you find out about those bands? Their known in your country or maybe their too underrated?

RE: Love for bad music - Kman - 04-08-2013

I go to a lot of music sites so I tend to discover a lot of stuff that generally isn't very well known, but yeah those all came out this year and they're all great. Like I said, you really just need where to look to find good stuff but there most definitely still is some.

Necrophagist is fun to play. I'm rubbish at sweep picking though, so their solos are out of the question for me D:

anyways, here's something relevant to the thread:
