You could start by wondering what that stuff produced by our brain (possibly) during R.E.M. sleep actually is and then don't try to figure the story out in a linear way. But why am I giving tips? I don't know anything more than you do... Perhaps its about space time travelling?

i still didn't understand like 40% of it so obviously if i'm even on the right track a lot of stuff is missing

I think I've played 90% of the existing custom stories, this one is in my top 3.

I just have to drop another comment here, because this custom story is brilliant.
I was so impressed of that walls appearing when you didn't look!
I also didn't really understand the story.. i guess i didn't even try to, because the english used way is too hard for me to understand, as I learn English in school
Nontheless this is the best Custom Story i have ever played, thank you Homicide!
