Penumbra Overture - Black Screen - bugmenot - 10-04-2011
When I launch the game, i can only hear it, the screen is always black. I tried without fullscreen or changin resolution and didnt work.
My pc:
Intel Atom CPU 525 1.8 GHz
2GB RAM ddr3
Nvidia ION 2
Windows 7 64-bit
*Same with Penumbra Black Plague

Seems to be a driver issue, check nvidia.com for a new driver for your graphics chip and operating system, then download and install it.

Then the graphics chip might not be able to run the game.

But when i maximized, the game run ok. Since I installed new drivers, the error hasn't appeared but i can only see black screen :/

Make sure you have this installed:

Do you also have an Intel embedded graphics card?

If a previous driver worked, then just downgrade, even if it means playing on a really low resolution.
