I see Dink Smallwood has yet to be mentioned. Awesome game for everyone who likes adventure games á la Zelda, and a good bit of humour. Wink

There are also loads of mods for this games for download.

Dink Smallwood is really great! I played it very often when I was younger. Smile

I should also mention some others:

Cave Story
Great side scrolling adventure game!

The White Chamber
Really cool point'n click horror adventure game, anime style. Several endings, too.

Various others:
These have been created with the concepts based on the names a random name generator script came up with, and there are 48 different games in total. I've only played two, "Emo Harvest on the Oregon Trail" and "ROM CHECK FAIL", both which I really had a lot of fun with. ^^

UGH, forget about what I was going to say.

This project of Dragon Ball Z is one of the best freewares on the internet, I guess most of the people won't recognize it.
It's a project like Penumbra, althought it's still Freeware.

Can you tell me more about this game? It looks interesting... Smile

Role-playing game?

RE: Good Freeware Games? - eliasfrost - 07-25-2008

It's a game like Zelda, but uhh... the gameplay part that is. And yes the game is RPG. You are Dink Smallwood, a pigfarmer who lives in the little village of stonebrook, until one day, and that that day will change his life!

I still laugh much when I play the game. Big Grin
