Well you put the door frame on a normal wall, if you look under the walls section of Castlebase(i guess your using) you will find door_way or something, cycle through them until you find the right one. Then put the door frame in that.

In simple terms, There is a wall, and a doorway, they're 2 seperate static objects.

You must put a door_way and the door_frame inside. Door ways exist in every "base" (e.g. castlebase, mansionbase etc)

Then simply add a door entity.

but now I can't open the door. it either gets stuck or the hand-icon won't even appear

Make sure you have "Create on surface" checked when you place the door, and that the lines for the entity are inside the frame.

SAY WHAAA!? You do know the door frame has risen shapes, which will tilt the door awkwardly...

Just keep grid-snapping on, and put it in the doorway. Click the door and raise Position Y to about 0.05 or 0.1...
