im having trouble with the windows steam version on my new computer... i unpack the editor suite to the right folder (as per the instructions on the hpl2 wiki) but when no option for level editor comes up in the launcher. can i get some help

You don't use the launcher to start the level editor, you double click on the leveleditor.exe in the directory where you placed it.
