Best custom story design? - MissMarilynn - 03-24-2012

I was just wondering what custom story you've played looks the best? Smile

I have been watching some of pewdiepie's videos and the scares are good but some of the maps just aren't very detailed or creative. I know scares are the most important part but I want to see some good atmosphere too. Big Grin

There are many out there, but you just have to look. Go to the forums and look at the ones with the highest rating and the one with the most views. Those maps are really well-made, or at least they should be. Some examples I can give off-hand are the laughing in the dark series (really cool environment) and the old well chapter 1 (my friend and I were playing it, it is really good).

back to your question, ''deterioration'' has some pretty creative atmosphere and mapping to it. you should check it out sometime ^^

That one looks great! I saw some screen shots. I also heard Killings in Alstadt is a good one as well. Smile
Also, does anyone know of the custom story that was up on youtube awhile that had AMAZING detail? It was called the osburne house or something? I've been trying to find it again but I cannot for the life of me remember the name...Sad

"Harvest: Prologue" is pretty nice from what I remember, maybe look that one up.

It looks awesome! I'll have to try it Big Grin My boyfriend and I play these all the time. We are thinking of making Let's Plays of them. Smile
