I never noticed this before and played through several times - cantremember - 05-13-2012
If you go to the guest room (in the back hall) for a second time, after you've already gotten the key and whatnot, you will hear a man say "who's there?". If you go in a third time I heard a man whisper "Someone's coming!"
That seriously messed me up. It's just a sound but I wasn't expecting it, I had never heard it before and my initial instinct was to think someone was there and have a mini heart-attack.

03:20, I noticed that too when played first time. All the items and objects in the room being restored except key objects. It is not really a bug, it is just how Amnesia engine works (you need to define things that mus save their position and status IIRC).

I've heard this before too. I wasn't expecting a man to whisper "Someone's coming!" right before I ran through there. I immediately Alt-Tabbed out of Amnesia
