Help with White Night custom story - Pannieh - 06-23-2012
Hi everyone,
I decided today to give it a try with custom stories but I'm literally going crazy because I can't seem to make it work. I wanted to play the White Night one, I have copied all the files in the right root folder but when I try to launch the .bat file a black window shows up saying " c:\program files(x86)\amnesia - the dark descent\redist>launcher.exe wn_config/main_init.cfg" and at the same time the amnesia launcher opens up but just the regular game one.
Where did I go wrong?

The "black window" is the command prompt. This shows that the BAT file was executed. Try editing the BAT file and changing Launcher.exe to Amnesia.exe

Right-clicking on the file and choosing "Edit" should do it.

Ok thanks. But now when I click the .bat file, the game starts automatically without even showing the launcher interface.

What version of Amnesia do you have installed?

I mean, do you have version 1.2 or lower? You can check by looking at the hpl.log in Documents/Amnesia/Main.
