atioglxx crash and atikmdag - Wowmjm - 06-24-2012

hello i recently bought amnesia and i when i started it up it worked but then i saved my progress and then later in the day i come back and i launch the game and it crashed at the menu screen and gives me an error display driver atikmdag stopped working an has successfully recovered also is says amnesia.exe caused an exception_ Access_Violation in module atioglxx.dll at 0023:
69BB7E74, atiPS()+10972932byte(s).
i have a hp pavillion dv4 with windows vista 64 bit and ati Radeon HD 3200.[attachment=3047]

check sticky guides, update drivers

i have my drivers are updated and i have even tried to run it in adminstrator but it does the same just crash

Try and delete the settings file in My Documents/Amnesia/ and then launch the game again and see if fresh settings fixes it.

it worked for a little while but it continued to crash after a while

after the crash attach hpl.log file again. Maybe it is overheating then...

go to Documents\Amnesia and delete the .cfg files
