Game wont open! - Nemisis530 - 06-30-2012
Hello Everyone. I just bought Amnesia off the
website and I downloaded it successfully. For some reason, whenever I
try to launch the game it gives me this message:
"!!!GAME CRASHED!!! READ THIS:
Something is wroooooooong!
If all fails go to http://support.frictionalgames.com/ for more info.
Exception Reason
Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module <UNKNOWN> at 001B:00000000"
What does this mean? I tried attaching a photo but it said it was too large. Please help me because I really want to play this game, I've heard a lot of stuff about it.

the very most known reason is bad drivers.
try to run the game as admin.

Btw heres the hpl log. I'm not that big into computers. I just looked at the "Version". How can I change that?

even the cheapest ones can play Amnesia at some degree. It depends on the badget and motherboard compatibility. What motherboard do you have?
