I doubt that they actually tried to do that since it wouldn't be very notable homage. However we do know that Robert Pike Daniel, the voice of Clarence in Penumbra: Black Plague, was also the voice of one of Wilhelm's men. The one that goes "Alexander, you piece of shit!"

I meant that maybe Sam Mowry is a VP fan and based his Dr. Eminiss voice off of him.

Did I fight the same Alexander that everyone else fought? Because he did not pose much of a challenge at all.

Sure, he was probably distracted, but Daniel was still right about him being easy to kill. Whether he knew how to kill him or didn't know what he really was is speculation. For all intensive purposes, we were not mislead.

In the end, I think Alexander was easy to defeat because he grossly underestimated Daniel.

Possibly. The added stress of the shadow closing in and focusing on a ritual didn't help either. I think that:

-Alexander relied almost completely on the barrier to protect him.
-He forgot about the other orb.

At least, that is what is implied by Agrippa.
