Sure. But you're supposed to play Amnesia the way it is. You can play this after beating the game a couple of times.

You are allowed to play any way you want. Your game, your style.

It sounds a bit incorrect (KingWolf's post), but of course, I tend to play the game the way it is first (no style, just the usual "bored" face, while keeping interest at high).

Then again, KingWolf's post is a bit incorrect.

But yeah, you play the game the way you want. I play it fairly first (no mods or cheats).

I would have to disagree with this, the developers made the game to be played a certain way, if you can't even do that then you're not going to experience it as it's intended.

I'm saying that the player has the right to chose the way he or she wants to play the game. Yes, developers intend the game to be played a certain way only known to them, and develop in that vision and try to get you to catch on to it. Bear with this example: if your eating noodles, does it matter if you use a spoon or a fork to eat? Both methods of deliver the noodle into your mouth.

Yeah but my problem with it is then a lot of times the player thinks the game sucks because of how they've played it. I've seen many people that claim that Amnesia isn't scary at all because if you just sit in a dark corner the monsters won't see you, and the monsters aren't scary because you can just let them kill you and then they don't respawn.

Yes, someone can eat noodles with a fork, but what if they're so frustrated with them falling through every time they take a forkful that they end up disliking them just because of how frustrating trying to eat them was?
