Because. When the game tries to make a user account, it needs to store information on your computer. And it can have permission issues if you're a guest user or other type of user

i don't know where my HPL.log file is can someone tell me please?
P.S i know it is under documents/amnesia/main but there isn't one for me so if there is suppose to be one. Can a user tell me were to get one?

by the way i was just wondering if reinstalling it would work is i am in the midle of reinstalling it i will tell you the results. Okay?

It's alright it doesn't annoy me it just makes my responces take longer
And go into your documents folder. Click on the start button, my documents (or just documents) then there should be a folder called Amnesia. Double click on it and go into the folder called Main. There should be a file called HPL.log

i tried the game and it still wouldn't make a profile i will post the error with this
