Something about open source games - silverhat - 03-11-2008

Thank all people participated my first survey. I’m glad to receive your responses and comments.
These are some information I collected:
• Most of people played open source games think that open source games are good (71.9%) and many comments show all good points of open source games: free(freedom), non-commercial purpose, easy to modify codes, great communities ...
• Most of people know how to report bugs
• > 60% players like modify or create new things in games and most of them know at least 1 programming language (36% C/C++ ).
• In source codes, developers should write more comments, using better structures & standard styles so that everyone can understand easily.
• About supportive tools, players need more tools, instruction and these tools must work faster, more accurately...
Now, this is my new survey corrected many errors from my first survey. Would you please participate in it. I must write report for this survey.

This was pretty painfree; much like the last one. Took less than 5 minutes, plus it helps them out alot.
