Team Fortress 2 - Obliviator27 - 01-11-2013

So, yeah. Who all plays this?
I know a couple do, and I'm interested to see if anybody else does.
But let's kick things off first!
What's your favorite/best class, and what loadout do you use?
What's your favorite map?
Favorite game mode?
I dunno. Post tf2 stuff!

Personally, I have a tough choice between playing Soldier and Scout.
Mini sentries are the bane of my existence, I swear.
Anyways, here are my preferred loadouts for both.

I'll happily play anything other than CTF, and I particularly enjoy PL_Upward and PL_Hightower. There's just so much room for rocket jumps!

RE: Team Fortress 2 - Statyk - 01-11-2013

You know what I do buddeh. =P

My fav class is Sniper. I play as a sniper in any game which gives me the opportunity, don't know why. Though I usually play with the Huntsman, cuz it's awesome. TF2 needs more bows!
Second would be Scoot. He's easy to play as and covers a ton of ground. When used right, he can save a ton of objectives. :D I've just recently started working on a "wardrobe" for him. Just got the Fast-Learner and some black paint yesterday. Not sure what outfit pieces to get next...

Favorite map?... Dunno. I know what ones I DON'T like, but I like a majority of them pretty much the same.

Favorite gametype? Probably Man vs Machine, honestly. On PVP, I'd say CP.

Barn Blitz (Payload) and Lakeside (King of the Hill) are my fave maps. Spy is dumb. Just.. really, really dumb.

Scoot best class.

RE: Team Fortress 2 - FlawlessHappiness - 01-11-2013

I'm a spy.

I love the fact that it's a FPS game... and you can become invisible!
I loving stealthing and such. This makes great possibilities... a shame it's so non-realistic... (Cloaking isn't realistic either i know)

Well this is my "skin"

The invisible zombie rouge, with a strange knife and the ambassador... I have to goggles too, but i'd rather be a zombie Wink It's a shame it's only halloween and fullmoon stuff...

Oh, and favourite level is ctf_battlecreek

RE: Team Fortress 2 - Heurell Horribillis - 01-11-2013

I've played a bit, but I'm in need of a better control system than the pad on my laptop.
I also completely suck.
Not sure what class I prefer yet. GCSE year and I haven't been gaming that much Confused

RE: Team Fortress 2 - Khyrpa - 01-12-2013

Yeah tf2... Normal public play is usually pretty horrible, but if you get into a rare nocrit server with great players (or just pickup 6v6 or 9v9) its fantastic.

What I recommend is checking out the competitive scene and learning a thing or two from there and then bring that to public play. Rocket jumping, sticky jumping, strafing, uber flashing and just smart play are things that make tf2 a lot more interesting.

Favourite class is the "real class"(even though I have more hours on scout).
Soldier, scout, demo, medic, being able to somewhat play them all makes it easy to adapt to different situations.
Having actually good aim makes the scout a real killer.

My loadouts?

I think I might have some hats in there somewhere, but I don't bother with them silly hats.

5 point Control Point maps are where this game shines. With unbalanced teams or horrible players it becomes easily a stalemate or a rollover though.

cp_badlands, its simply filled with fun stuff to do as a soldier.

RE: Team Fortress 2 - Wooderson - 01-12-2013

Isn't this that game that is free on Steam?

Any good?

Yea it's good and free Wink

Though if you want to be able to trade with other players you have to buy something, anything. The cheapest thing could you buy.
