Executable doesn't find any libraries - fivetonsofflax - 05-15-2008 Hey, I've just bought and installed Black Plague for Linux. When I try to run the game, I get the following error message: Code: ./blackplague.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libopenal.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory The same thing occured with other libraries. I installed some of them manually via apt-get until I noticed that they're actually all in the "lib" folder. Any ideas why the executable doesn't find the needed libraries? Edit: It's alright now. I had to rename two of the library files; the game works fine now. |
