RE: The Escape Button - BAndrew - 07-04-2013 Seriously what's the matter with the escape button? If people want to press it to pause the game what's your problem? It's their choice to do so, you can't force them. On the other side, it's your choice to decide whether to use it or not. Well, many things in a video game don't happen IRL but you already know that, don't you Oh and by the way... I really didn't like that on Penumbra the game wouldn't pause when you opened your inventory. Especially since I couldn't find a key to close it as quickly as on TDD. RE: The Escape Button - Nice - 07-05-2013 where's the "It doesn't matter" option? RE: The Escape Button - Ashtoreth - 07-05-2013 No pause? Sure! Why not? Spoiler below!

But then 61% of what I'm doing in the toilet is f****** so.... RE: The Escape Button - Streetboat - 07-09-2013 you know beds are more comfortable than toilets for that also thats how you give other unwitting people herpes you dicksqueeze RE: The Escape Button - skyhawk02 - 07-09-2013 I don't have a strong opinion on this because I never used the esc button as a way to pause the game during a monster encounter. I only ever used it to save and quit. Making the game continue running even when you press esc sounds like a good idea though. RE: The Escape Button - Gharren - 07-10-2013 I never use the escape button, only if I want to leave the game. But I think this button should keep it's function - pausing/escaping the game. RE: The Escape Button - Draug - 07-11-2013 I used the button a few times, for example when I heard the noise of a brute in the choir. Just pressed it to say to myself "okay, you can do it, it's just a game". I'm such a pussy when it comes to horror games (nevertheless a big fan), but also I'm so proud of myself when I played through the part and even more when I managed to get through the howl game. If they would remove this function it would take months for me to beat the game, but for me it doesn't matter if they remove it or not, I'm familiar with the non-existence of the button from dark souls. (ok sometimes I died, because somebody was at the door or my phone rang ) |
