Game runs slow on high fps - CalinTM - 09-05-2013
Hello, i just bought this game, i use max settings on 1080p, and i have an 120Hz monitor, i disabled the fps cap, in the game i have 90-140fps, but when i move the mouse it feels very slow motion, like im playing on a 30hz monitor.
This game doesn't like 120hz monitors ? How can i improve this ?

Is it the beginning of the game? There are effects and player movement limited for the first level that could match what you describe.

Well not really, im in the main room now, and it still moves like in slow motion both the mouse arrow in menu and when i move the mouse in-game. It feels like it's not meant to be fast movement, i can see ghosting in the game...

I don't remember exactly but I think there is a mouse sensitivity option at the game settings. Have you tried increasing that?

Tried many things, the image still moves like i'm playing on 60Hz. There is a .ini that i can force to run at 120hz ?
Also, where i can start to modify the game with .ini files ?

Go to Documents\Amnesia (also Main subfolder) and check the two .cfg files. Now that you said it, I think there is an FPS option there. Check it out and let me know.

Only in documents i can modify ini files, in the game folder no ?
