^^ Does this game actually gets scary at some point?

I've gone through the second loading door where there's a chariot full of dead pigs on, close to the desk full of dentures and glasses.

So far, nothing has been scary except for the menu screen music.

Well after I read a few notes and started exploring I was already freaking out. Maybe you should continue playing and fully immerse yourself rather than wonder if other people were frightened of the game because I sure as hell was.

My first encounter with the monster was genuinely harrowing, and that occurred in the afternoon.

It's 3am, it can't get any darker than that.
We'll see how this game turns out.

If you're open to being scared by built up tension, then yes. But man, I've watched my friend play through it who literally CHASED the monster. I mean, he basically wanted to pet the damn thing. =/
