Story

Having just read your most recent thesis, 'A World in Slumber: What is to Come', I must say I am rather impressed. As the Professor of History at the local Academy, I was consistently enthralled by your theories on the future of our world. The patterns you see within our own history are remarkable. Well done.

Tomorrow night I will be presenting my latest seminar to an early audience for open opinion. You are welcome to attend, as I think the topic will intrigue you more than anything. I apologize for the short notice, but if you are able to make it I shall be most thrilled. Several of my associates are also fans of your work, and have caught wind of your possible attendance.

You play as Nathaniel Praemon: a 24 year-old writer living in London, England, in the year of 1905. You awake to an empty house, an unknown amount of time having passed since your last memory. The phone rings and you are greeted by a mysterious American, calling on your for help.

Nathaniel's investigation into the unknown will take him across the whole of Europe and back, facing ancient horrors lying dormant in the planes between wakefulness and dream.

What is real, and what is not?

Along his journey, Nathaniel will encounter several people who either wish to help or hinder his progress. Through decrepit castles, forgotten caverns, and sinister mansions; Nathaniel will discover the terrors of his Ancestral past.

It takes place in the same universe as Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, exactly 5 years after the events of the latter.

So far the custom story is planned for a release date some time in 2014.

Hey guys!

Sorry for the lack of updates these past few weeks, we've all been very busy finalizing the details of the story and progression of the levels. With that said, we are currently working on a teaser trailer with a hopeful release date on either Halloween or shortly after.

New screenshots showing the levels will be posted shortly.
