I have a god called: Oswald Mandus.

And my religion is called: I wanna be the guy: Gaiden.

RE: Religion - Nice - 10-30-2013

RE: Religion - Kreekakon - 10-30-2013

To be completely fair, I don't really think there's that much to debate imo. Someone has their beliefs, and somebody else will have theirs. The concepts of religion are rarely (Correct me if I'm wrong) based in logic, and/or scientific proof, so their existence would be somewhat supernatural.

With no way to concretely prove the legitimacy of any one religion (I assume it has never been done otherwise we wouldn't even have all these debates), I see no problem in people holding onto their own beliefs, and choosing to believe that while it cannot be proven that their belief will eventually turn out to be the correct one.

Might as well lock this thread right now because all three of those rules will be broken.

RE: Religion - i3670 - 10-30-2013

Why not discuss politics instead? Atleast that has some concrete facts.

Spoilered because controversial:

The debate between religion and atheism is a myth. Atheists are convinced of the most logical position one can take with the information we have today. Evangelicals just won't admit that it is, in fact, the most logical position. Hence the popularity of the many many fallacies they use to defend them.

I will say it's bullshit that Atheists are one of the most hated groups in American, possibly even behind Gays. We can't even hold public office in like half of the states, and the other half wouldn't vote for one anyways.
