Invisible Explosives! - cardboardcat15 - 01-25-2014
Hello everyone. I'm hoping I can get a bit of help with my issue here. I'm currently in the storage room at the area where the rubble is blocking my path. When I set my explosives down on the ground, they aren't visible/disappear. I can't get them to go off. I've recorded a video to give everyone a better idea of what's going on.

YES my graphics card drivers are up to date. (Nvidia GEforce GTX 660)
YES I've done a steam file verification. Came up clean.
YES I've done a local content delete.
I searched the help forums and couldn't find anything
I went through the troubleshooting sticky to no avail.
I've even started from three different save points just to run into this same problem. I'm following a walkthrough guide, and I've done everything right. Hopefully I haven't missed anything during my internet searches! I hope someone can help me find out the issue! I'd really like to finish this game out so I can start on a Machine for Pigs

EDIT: I cant seem to upload my .sav as an atachment. Odd, only lets me upload the HPL. Is there anyway I can upload another attachment?

Thank you for following the troubleshooting guide and providing any relevant information. Usually when something like that happens we suggest a file integrity check since most of the times it's caused by corrupted files. Alright, after the issue occurs exit the game and attach the file HPL.log as mentioned at the troubleshooting guide, Problem X. Also, if you want attach the latest save you have as well to see if I can replicate on my end.

Im sorry, I thought I attached my save file. Looks like it didn't stay.
And I guess I mis-mentioned it in my post, I did the integrity check with steam twice actually, rechecking again. So far everything has come up clean.
EDIT: Still having issues with the .sav uploading. I can't get it to show up as an attachment.

The forum only accepts certain types of files as attachents. You could trick it by changing the .sav extension to .zip.
Go to C:\Users\--YOUR-USER-NAME--\AppData\Local and rename the folder VirtualStore to VirtualStore_TEST and check if the problem is gone. It could be some corrupted files stored there causing issues if steam is reporting everything to be fine. If the problem persists remember to rename the folder back to it's default name.

EDIT: Changing the Virtual Store didn't change anything. Still getting the invisible explosives. Here's the .sav file.

Your save file probably got corrupted at some point because the minute I reload the map (using a development tool) it works right away. Load an earlier save game before entering the storage for the first time.
