That's a crazy ammount of Polygons for the face, not a game res model?

I had to sculpt it a bit even after retopology, and I needed to use multi-res modifier so that the polygons weren't AS obvious (you should have seen it before), and it's going to be used in Unity rather than HPL Wink

Being used in unity is no reason to smack up the polycount, no real difference.

Just saying, for a static face that most likely won't even be animated, that's WAAY too many polygons.

Even if its aimed at blender users theres quite a lot of generally useful normal mapping info in this one, so I definitely recommend it to anyone here doing game assets.

Also on the padding thing, gimp users can use this plugin:http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114616

one of my test was not exactly flawless though so if you have acces to photoshop I recommend using that instead.

So I gave him a shot myself, Zremesher went a bit crazy on the polycount around the ears and I'm too lazy to fix it, but yeah, use this as a bit of a guide! Wink

Not as much as you hate Blender.
