So my model is to bright, can anyone help me how to make a bright wall less bright?

This should be in a separate subforum.

The issue is probably that your model has a bright texture, and the default Amnesia shader for bloom just burns it out. Take a look at the comparison here:

Oh thats really cool!
So AMFP shader works? Is it any easy install and when people plays the mod will they be forced to replace it themself or how does that work?

Thanks for such a quick response Mudbill

It's a bit tricker to install than a regular full conversion mod, because yes, the player does need to replace the shaders. We are working on making this process easier for users. Viper has made a custom shader tool that can be used, which I think is the only thing so far that we have available for this because we only recently discovered what to do and how to do it. Quite a few people here are experimenting with shaders right now.

Perhaps Frictional will add some extra support for shaders by the release of the 1.3 patch, but I don't know. It would be nice, but I can only hope.

It looks frikking amazing!
Btw, is it possible to do a model that uses only mesh colors?
My models always look so "jagged" like you can easily spot individual edges! Any idea how to make them abit "sexier"? I dont wanna use alot of polygons to make a smooth surface :/

RE: Problem with my models - to damn bright! - Mudbill - 10-02-2014

In Maya, there is a "smooth" option under the Mesh or Edit Mesh menu. Unsure where this feature is found in other modellers, but I know it's possible. It basically just tells the model to not render the entire face at a single angle or something like that.

Mudbill this exists in Blender aswell but when I apply my texture it simply doesnt show anymore :/

RE: Problem with my models - to damn bright! - Mudbill - 10-02-2014

Hm, well I don't Blender, so I don't think I can help with that :/

There are many others here who do know though. Perhaps they'll drop by.
