Amnesia: Room Escape 1.0.1 - alec1230 - 10-20-2014

Hey guys!

I'm releasing my very first half-decent mod so try not to cringe too hard with anything too n00by that you might see in this map.

Map Description:
"Your wits will be tested in this challenge of the Room Escape! As the title points out, the objective of this custom story is to solve moderately challenging puzzles in order to gain access to the next level. Solve them quick, though! You are timed on each level! It's either act fast or... well... die."

Immediate gripe about the tiling.

I may or may not get to playing it, but that's my immediate impression xD

Otherwise it looks nice =) (If a lil bright, I assume it's for a good reason ofc)

Yeah I can understand that xD
Excuse my n00biness.

I'll probably get around to fixing that, making it more consistent.

That looks pretty cool. The design and concept are amazing. I would love to try it.

I just finished playing your custom story and I have to say, I love it! The concept was really cool. It kind of reminded me of an even deadlier Justine dlc lol. The notes were well written and they really helped out with the gameplay. It took me about 45 minutes to finish it in one run. The only issues were mainly cosmetic. The levels were nicely designed, but you forgot to place a few welders on some wall joints. Also, the lighting at the beginning of the game is unnaturally bright. I would eliminate the lightbox and use point lights instead. Other than that, awesome game.

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it! Big Grin I'll definitely fix the cosmetics a bit.

I fixed some of the lighting and graphical issues along with a bug in the third level.

I would say it's different from the usual mod, I like it.
