The game menu sounds great and my computer can handle it no doubt i tried reinstalling it. but to no avail. can someone help me? I actually bought the game legally off of humblebundle.com.

The screen where it asks you to choose a profile. I click okay after typing a name or leaving it as new player. and it disappears leaving me with the profile options.
I cant get past that screen because i cannot make a profile.

If your game is a retail copy, assuming you are using a Windows PC, can you try running either Amnesia.exe or Launcher.exe as an Administrator? Your user privileges may be blocking you from creating a profile.
