Mod support for GOG and Steam? - Yodake - 08-29-2015

I read that the game will use the Steam Workshop for mods/custom stories. Will it be possible to download and use them in the GOG version? I really hope so!

Even though I pre ordered the game on Steam, it kind of interests me too.

Best guess is yes. You just may need to move files around. I don't use the Steam workshop, so I don't know if specific files go to specific areas for each game that is downloaded, but I think you should be good Smile

If anyone releases on Steam Workshop (god.. steam still wants that to catch fire?) and they don't also release via forums or moddb I'll personally see to it they be slaughtered.

steam workshop is so user-unfriendly it make me CRINGE.

Well you can always download mods from moddb (I'm sure people will still upload thier mods to there) and put that in the custom story folder manually.

What if the cake is a lie and there won't be a folder called "custom_stories"?

Meh. It will have.

Actually, if I recall, the folder for "custom_stories" didn't originally exist. Hence we had to add it to our resources.cfg.

The cake could potentially be a lie!
