Is it normal for the Penumbra Collection installer to take hours? I don't mean to exaggerate but at it's current pace, it probably will be hours by the time it finishes. It's been running for over an hour and indicates it's only around 15% complete.

Edit: Found an earlier thread where several others had the same problem, so I guess it's a known issue. I switched to the nCurses installer as suggested and installation was complete in under 2 minutes.

It is a bug in the the FLTK front-end of the installer (or FLTK, I'm thinking more FLTK).. which is caused by the number of entries that get added into the "install status" text field. So your options are to use the GTK+ or the nCurses front-end.. if you are on a 64bit linux you'll have to have the 32bit gtk libs to use the GTK frontend.. Future installers will include 64bit frontends as well (even through the game will ONLY be 32bit)
