Game crashes at launch - Lpron - 09-08-2010
Hi,
My game crashes when I'm trying to launch Amnesia.
A screen pops up with the message EXCEPTION_ACCES_VIOLATION in module Amnesia.exe at 001B:0000000.
I have the latest audio and video drivers, the latest direct-x. All my drivers are up to date.
Using Windows XP SP2,
Could this be because I only have 1 GB RAM?
(i also saw other people who had the same problem with 4GB RAM)
PLEASE HELP ME!,
Edit: I attached the hpl.log. It seems like the game can't recognise my Geforce 7600GT????

EDIT!: FIXED THE PROBLEM!!!, I thought i had the newest drivers installed for my video-card. I now tried to install the newest drivers manually (just the same i had before) and it worked....

By the looks of it you do not have any drivers from nividia, at least none that comes with OpenGL support. Please go to nvidia and download the latest driver, then uninstall the current driver, reboot (important) and install the new driver.
