Dead Space isn't survival horror : s
It's a first person shooter with really ugly enemies.

yeah , well ...
some web-sites call it action-horror , some survival-horror and some even sci-fi shooter ...
To me personally , it"s just Resident Evil 4 or 5 in Space
only major downside for me is the lame 3rd person view.

Dead Space is just a third person shooter.
BUT it's still awesome. Dead Space 2 on the PC is awesome.

yeah, from what i've seen of dead space 2 it's fun, but i wouldn't call it a horror, a couple scares sure, but it's more of an atmospere, not scary, just not normal.

They are both scary imo , and both deserve the title Survival Horror.
