The recent Dead Island trailer made me think:

Very nice. I hope they can pull off a game that even comes close to being as good as that trailer. Smile

I don't know Techland or Deep Silver enough to tell whether or not this will be good, but I kind of doubt it. The only Techland game I've played before is Call of Juarez 2, which is pretty cool, but a completely different kind of game than what this is probably going to be.

Or it could just be a really good trailer for a cheesy action game, like the Cause and Affect trailer for Singularity.

Also, from the game's website:
Quote:Features
- first-person melee combat
- 4 player co-op
- weapon customization
- set on an open world tropical island
- RPG elements for character development
- hordes of gruesome zombies

I'm not expecting the game to be like the trailer. Especially with what Less quoted from the site, I'm just thinking L4D-style gameplay.

I thought those were very interesting points. I totally agree that they probably set their fans up for disappointment. An IGN review I read said that it'll be a zombie mele first person shooter style game. I doubt that they'll be able to recreate the tension of the trailer at all.
