In addition to getting the Exception Access Violation error (which hopefully will be fixed by the new graphics card I'm putting in today), the game tells me I need to insert a disc, despite the fact that I bought it from Direct2Drive. What's up?

What type of download is it? It if is a zip file you need to unpack the file first before running the installer.
