shimmering blue light problem - brane12 - 07-29-2011
ok so i have been getting the shimmering blue light problem where the screen is just black. so i read in another post that you had to turn the post effects off which i did but still didnt work. so i lowered the graphics etc. but still it doesnt work . is thier anything else i could do to make it work ??

Admin Jens knows more about such problems. Maybe he will be able to provide more help. Basically your graphics card can barely run the game, that's why that happens. I already know what the log will say but attach me here the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder.

Looks like your card is not able to run the game.
That's the case if you can't update the driver.

It is the only Intel card that can play the game with the latest drivers. There are plenty other topics about this problem. You could also try another savegame from someone else just after this scene.
