[SPOILER] What the save artifacts are

Hey. As we know, there are artifacts with orange lights that save at points in the Penumbra series. Many of people don't know what they actually are. Their purpose is to take a part of your mind so when the Tuurngait recognizes it you can be more easily possessed and infected. Howard LaFresque (Philip's dad) also used these, which is why in Penumbra Overture you have periodic flashbacks of him. Just thought this would be interesting to share.

No, they are not in Amnesia. The entities in Amnesia works same way but way completely different.

I'd say... More like a good way to flow the story. They're there to complete the story, not for just fun.

Nothing. I just saying, that these artifacts are a fantastic indication for Frictional Games. When I first saw these "emotion stone" in Amnesia, my thoughts fell of Penumbra.
