Breakable Boxes?

Got another question.

In the super_secret folder where they showed early gameplay, they actually broke those wooden boxes. This is something I really really want for my custom story. I've tried copying the entity and opening it in the modeleditor and changed the variables and stuff to lower it's health and make sure it's breakable but have had no success so far.

I have been searching the forum for the same issue but couldn't find it, so I apologize if this has been solved before. I would appreciate any help though.

Thanks in advance.

I have tried converting things from Penumbra before and I find it really difficult even with guide.

I got the model in easily but I imported a desk and couldn't find out how to make the desk-draweer "moveable".

RE: Breakable Boxes?

that would require a slide-joint attached to the drawer.

Just make sure BreakActive is checked and adjust BreakMinEnergy till the object breaks when throwing it. You may also need to have a broken entity set. For added effect, set a particle system too.

I have tried this and I tried it again now, it just doesn't work..

Edit: Nevermind! I copied the settings from a vase (breakable) exactly and now it works. Thank you very much.

Try checking "DissolveOnBreak" ON and try it again... Not the best effect, but what you have now until you get a broken model.

They all automatically have broken models. They get split into parts anyway. Looks really amazing.
