I realized it's almost Christmas, and aamfp's release is lurking just behind the corner. Where the hell did all those months go?

Not only textures are very similar and basic, but big doors never open. That's like a very obvious flaw. Not that it made Amnesia less enjoyable.

Isn't it obvious? The ever closed big doors symbolize how freedom is so close - literally just a step away - yet Daniel is trapped in that nightmare of a castle until the shadow consumes him. The large, eye-catching doors tease the player and urge him to try and open them, only to have him reminded the moment after that there is no escape. Ever.

Yes, I just pulled that completely out of my arse.

Hmm, OK. Here's a direct link. But the pictures in previous post working for me!

Hope that works now for you.
Note that's just to show some of my ground textures, and it's just an alpha version.
I also could make better textures for Amnesia, because I use real surfaces and no computer-generated textures. And as you can see, the gravels looks like they were real.

No escape...

I'm pretty sure they were using photos, not "computer generated" stuff. But in any case, you're too late, 'cuz someone has already taken that job as far as I'm informed Wink *coughtragcoughgey* Also I believe that they won't need any more help for AAMFP, what with having a former artist from Dice and the like...
