I think it's a hulla hoop lol, a common toy in those times.
Indeed, there's something behind the window in the first 2 houses, I can't tell what it is.
Is the woman holding her hands over the eyes of her kid so it can't see?
And why is the last building next to the factory all closed and with the lights off and everything :o

Reading through the letter again, I'm thinking the "most wonderful additions to your product line" is referring to the sausages. Sausages are, after all, made from pigs. We knew Oswald was an industrialist, but perhaps they are letting us know his specific occupation now? Something to do with meat processing and production?

Sounds plausible. I can remember that there is a poster in the first teaser which says "ban swine reek from our streets. The mandus factory must close" or something like that!

Also, in the teaser they talk about a literal machine for pigs, and they hint that Oswald and presumably his employer aren't going to be picky about what constitutes a pig, aka using humans. Perhaps humans that are placed in this machine are horribly deformed and turned into pigs, assuming the factory is not just a glorified abbatoir.

...but it's not glowing anymore...
