Map got crazy?
I am building a big map. However at some point I add some curtains, I save and then they are not here ingame. I remove the room and add a corridor behind it then readd it after the corridor and shows me the lights of the corridor being on the same room as before (?)

Really this is getting me mad I don't know why it acts like this and on the editor it's another
whole piece of map while ingame a part is screwed up..
Can someone help me? this is most likely a bug..

Oh and I before added a carpet but didn't show up.. I removed it and after i've deleted the room it reappeared again! and I deleted it time ago!

EDIT:I think it's a save bug, can someone after trying to help on this show me where the custom stories saves are? I've found the saves and removed them but still this bug... also sometimes I make a room and I just fall down after opening its door... but the rest worked... (many tests I made time ago)

RE: Map got crazy?
Try going to C:\Users\--YOUR-USER-NAME--\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Amnesia - The Dark Descent and rename the folder redist to redist_test and see if that fixed the issues.

If you have steam then go to the VirtualStore folder and find the steam folder that contains Amnesia and rename him
to see if these shared files over there are corrupted and conflict.

I have Amnesia on Steam; I went on VirtualStore but couldn't find the Amnesia folder, in Windows folder I JUST found a folder called SysWOW64 and inside it there's a txt file called hpl. Just that file on that folder.
the hpl file says:
ERROR: Unable to open config file 'MainEditorSettings.cfg'! Invalid filepointer returned!

I guess I have to shot myself Tongue
